A private inbox inside your private inbox.
After you claim an account, hide selected Match or friend threads behind a separate PIN. Optionally set a decoy PIN that opens a believable empty inbox.

Decoy PIN
If someone presses you to unlock Hidden, the decoy PIN opens a seeded empty inbox — not your real hidden threads. Decoy is for the Hidden tab only, not app lock.

Blur chat previews in the open inbox when you need visual discretion without moving a thread to Hidden.
Conversations that stay out of the main list
Hidden chats help when the risk is not “someone reading encrypted packets,” but someone glancing at your inbox. Tuck sensitive threads away, optionally behind a decoy PIN that opens an empty inbox.

Hidden chats FAQ
Is the decoy PIN the same as app lock?
No. App lock protects the whole Chatkode session. The decoy PIN only applies when unlocking the Hidden chats tab.
Can the other person see that I hid the chat?
Hiding is on your side. Their inbox is unchanged — they still have the same conversation.
