Essential service storage
We may use essential cookies or equivalent storage to keep the site functioning, protect against abuse, and preserve core settings. If you disable these features, some parts of the experience may stop working correctly.
Theme preference
When you toggle the light or dark theme, the website stores the value chatkode-theme in localStorage so your preference is reflected on future visits. This is not used to track you across unrelated services.
Analytics and measurement
Chatkode uses Google Analytics through Google tag with measurement ID G-GWYKEKYH1E to understand aggregate website performance and content usefulness. Analytics cookies such as _ga are loaded only after you accept the cookie banner. Analytics data is separate from the content of private chats.
Your controls
Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies. You can also clear site data to remove the saved theme preference. If you block analytics, some usage data may no longer be collected and some site experience may change slightly.
