Find someone and connect
For spontaneous talk, use Random Chat Match/Skip. After you claim an account, you can also find people by username for private 1:1 threads — not contact sync.

Open Find
In the app, go to Find (person search) from the bottom nav or new-chat action.

Search a username
Type the username exactly. Results show profiles you can preview.

Send a request
If they require approval, send a connection request. You can add a short note.

Accept requests
Incoming requests appear under Find → Requests. Accept to open a chat, or skip for later.
