Chatkode

Before selling or giving away a phone with chat

A factory reset helps. Signing out of private chat first is still smart.

Sign out of Chatkode

Open Chatkode in the browser on that phone and sign out fully. Remove saved passwords from the browser if any were stored. Your past conversations were protected; signing out removes easy session access on that device.

Clear browser data for the site

Clear site data or use the browser’s remove-password and clear-data tools for app.chatkode.com. Then perform a full device reset if you are selling or recycling the phone.

Confirm on your new device

Sign in on your new phone, re-enable app lock, and confirm you can reach the people who matter. Keep using username chat without handing out your phone number.
